    ABOUT ME

    My name is Lucy Rhodes and I’d like to thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I know that buying or selling real estate is one of the most important decisions in life and I’d be honored to help you with your real estate needs. As a lifelong resident of the Main Line, I have extensive knowledge not just of the area and school districts, but the neighborhoods, conveniences and amenities that individual locations offer. I attended Radnor schools, graduated from The Agnes Irwin School, and received a degree in Business from Miami University in Oxford Ohio.  My daughter Zaidee is a Penn State grad and teaches at a local private nursery school, and my son, Spencer will head to college in the fall of 2018. My husband Mark and I are avid golfers and we enjoy our daily 3-mile walks with our two dogs, Mosby and Penny.

    As an accomplished realtor for over ten years, I’ve learned that each client is unique. During our initial meeting, I’ll learn your needs and goals and together we’ll develop a plan to meet both.  I’ll guide you through the process, present you with opportunities, and listen to your concerns and ideas. As your buyer or seller agent, being proactive in understanding you is a valuable way for me to ensure that each transaction is a smooth and stress-free process.  My role as your agent is not only to help you buy or sell your home but to ensure that all contingency deadlines, including inspections, lending, appraisers, title reports are met. This is a critical part of the process and you need an agent who is your advocate.

    If you’re a Buyer, you’ve probably been online and have already looked at dozens of homes. By discussing your searches and developing a list of criteria for your next home, we can eliminate locations and narrow the search. The more we can eliminate the easier it will be to find your ideal home.   

    My experience is that Sellers already have a good sense of value based on recent sales in the neighborhood. This information, combined with my own comparative analysis, will create the ideal parameters for pricing your home to maximize value and speed of sale within a realistic marketing period. 

    Negotiation is a big part of any real estate transaction and understanding relationships that exist between buyers, sellers, agents and lenders is a key part of buying and selling homes. Timely responses and respectful negotiations are important and require thoughtful and tactful skills. As a Certified Negotiator, I bring extensive skills and experience to the process, which have been instrumental in many negotiations over the past ten years.
